Today, Jan 2nd.
We finally got together to exchange our gifts. Well, it did not start out like that right away. I arrived at 7:15PM and to my surprise, well not really, I was early. Wilson and Kevin was there, but then again we were meeting up at Kevin's house. It was really fun just seeing them all again, it felt like I did not see them all week this week. Gosh I guess it was a busy week on my part, but I could have made time to see them, why didn't I? Anyways, everyone finally showed up, well most of them, at 8 o clock and we decided to make a run for dinner and share what we bought. The rule was 7 dollars a person, 21 dollars a team, and we cannot go to the same place. Interesting results, but the flaw: No drinks. Good thing we remedy that quickly, because Shawn bought the drinks. We ate and played Mafia, interesting game, but I couldn't voice myself well in the game. I don't know why, I'm usually able to play Mafia really well too, but today, I guess I was tired. I played a couple and sat out the rest. I was content playing Left 4 Dead, haha. Well then, finally everyone came and we all exchanged presents, that was fun. I got my Pac Sun gift card! More jeans for me. (:
I think the highlight of the day was playing Cranium, my gosh that was incredible fun. I thought we wouldn't do well, but luckily Kevin and Jimmy were in my team. Extremely great help, even though I think my Gas Station sculpture was pretty well done. But then again only Kyle got it, maybe it wasn't THAT great. We weren't doing so hot in the beginning but things picked up and the game was getting heated up. The underdogs finally went neck and neck with the veteran players, but it wasn't a typical football-flick ending. We lost, but I guess we were quite close. Yup, we finished, said our goodbyes and went home. I think this event is great, well the gift exchanging is great and all, but I love the fact that we actually got together, all of us, for this one day. I wonder how many of these 'days' we'll get before we grow old, have lives, and disappear. I love MW, I already miss it and I'm only 19.
