I'm exhausted. I'm not sure if I want to go into details our adventure today.
Today:
Danny, Melody, Emi, and I all went to Santa Monica to shop, bike, and eat. It was a lot of fun. I didn't think we would actually spend 13 hours there. Shopping takes a lot of time. Eating was fun, but lunch was crap at Subways. I realized that I eat a lot less when there is a conversation going. The food gets cold, and I am less inclined to eat. It was fun though, we ate Thai food for dinner at Thai Dishes. I thought it was going to be a To-Go kind of restaurant, but apparently its a fancy restaurant that was fairly pricey. It was decent, but the stuff we ordered perhaps needed improvement. It was a good enviroment and the food wasn't terrible. A great way to end the day. Before dinner we rode bikes to Venice beach. It was beautiful as usual. The sky was clouded with smog, but gave the sky a interesting purple hue that enchanted the eyes. It was fun, we spent a good amount of time taking pictures as well. We camped in one spot and waited until someone passed us by. It was fairly amusing. Today was a lot of fun, and I would love to go on and on about it, but I'm dead tired. I want to sleep so I could wake up tomorrow. I'm stoked about tomorrow as well. G'night.
God, I'm overblessed.

Korean Tacos
I finally got Kogi tacos, and it was so good. I'm definitely going again, and I know just the person I want to take next time! :)
I'm glad Melissa and Tiff were able to make it today, our plans never carry through, but this proves that we could hang out if we just don't flake out. It was fun, and worth the drive.
I'm excited to try the spicy pork next time!

Alysia Day
I woke up quite early today, sleeping early has its benefits. I ate breakfast with my mother and my favorite dog, Totoro. My body isn't use to eating breakfast yet, it gave me an upset stomach actually. I had to go to Riverside to return my keys and pay my bills, my final bill. I called Alysia and Angela afterward to confirm our adventure, but only Alysia answered. Alysia has a pretty cute sleepy voice, but sometimes I can't understand what she is saying early in the morning.
Moving on, I found out my car has cruise control. This function is man's greatest invention so far, its practically driving the car for me. Its great on these sore legs, it allowed me to sit cross legged on the driver seat. It definitely made the trip a lot more bearable.
I got to Alysia's house first, she made me a CD: Owl City. I like the little presents she gives me, and I hope she knows that I do cherish them. The presents and the letters and even the keychain! I asked her to download some songs for me as well, which she faithfully did for me. She could be 'such a doll' sometimes. Hahaha.
Well, we went to look for Angela's house, but we got lost. To make that up, Alysia bought me lunch at Wendy's which is a really nice gesture. She'd make such a great girlfriend if you could put up with her high maintainence. :)
We had a good conversation over lunch,. Lately, Alysia and I do talk a lot, but we talk about crap, but for some reason we are okay with it. Its good to have some heart to heart talk once and a while. We cleaned our mess and left for Angela's house.
Angela's house is pretty nice, she has two adorable dogs that are so energenic, and a couple of birds that are really no fun. We relaxed at her house for a bit, and just talked for a bit. We left shortly, and went to Riverside. Angela had a ton of homework and couldn't join us.
Someone was at my parking spot when we arrived there, but luckily there is a spare parking spot for 'Future Residents'. I just parked there instead. There were a lot of people in the office, and Alysia seemed quite interested in the pool area. Maybe she scoped a cute guy outside and wanted to take a closer look, I relunctantly gave in to her demand to explore the pool, I had to check my mail anyways.
We decided to dip our feet into the pool, luckily the other people were leaving so we had the pool to ourselves. I saw the people leaving from the office and decided to go back in to pay my bills and relinquish my keys. I'm finally done with all that, and it felt good to have that all sorted out.
We were on our way to my new house, when Alysia stepped in dog crap. She claimed it was beans or something, but I said no way anyone would drop beans that looked like dog crap. I wish I took a picture of it so I could post it here. But I'm sure it was dog crap. It ruined her Rainbows, I didn't want her to come back into the car, if I had my way she'd walk home!
We arrived at my new place, Alysia really hates rollercoasters. I could tell, because the drive up there was pretty steep, and we had to go up a lot of hills. Haha, something like this got her heart racing, I wonder what she is like when she is on a real rollercoaster...
At my new house, I gave her a brief tour of the place, and we stole two popsicles from the refrigerador there. Alysia claimed they won't miss 'em, but I beg to differ. We ate them guiltily anyways.
Afterwards, we play Guitar Heroes. I think Alysia has an amazing voice, I think if we met under different circumstances, I would probably fall for her. I'm a sucker for cute girls with pretty voices. We played for 2 hours, until her voice gave out and she could no longer sing. She tired herself out and she took a short nap on the couch. I packed all my clothes that I wanted to bring to Norcal and came down to see her KO. I let her finish her little power nap, and we hit the road back to her house.
Alysia recently got a new car, a 2005 Suzuki Forenza. Today was my first time seeing it. I thought she got a sweet deal for 3600$. Its fully equiped and its presentable. I liked it a lot, and I hope she would let me drive it around sometimes. :)
Today was fun, that is all.

What a feeling
I never understood what it feels like to be 'so happy I could die'. But right now I can't stop smiling, I constantly daydream, and I work out extra hard because I have so much positive energy. Right now, at this very moment, I feel like I'm on top of the world. :)
I am overblessed, and I keep thanking God for every blessing He constantly pours into my life. I'm super happy, and I can't even put it into words. If I were to try it would sound like this: ajs;dklfjas;lkfjakl;sdjfl;ajdslkfjsalkdfjklasdjfjsadlfjldsafl;ajsdfldsajf. HAHA. :)
I wished I had a couple more weeks though! Summer suddenly felt really short and I just want to extend it more. I guess that's really greedy of me, but then again a wish could be anything right?! I really wish for summer to be another month longer, I'd be dead with happiness all over me if it were to came true. :)
GOD, LIFE IS GOOD. :)

Text: Alysia
Well I'm actually in a middle of a texting conversation with my friend Alysia. She's slow with her T9, but I can't really blame her. Maybe if she gets a new texting phone we could properly have a text conversation. Its weird though, wasn't texting used more for leaving messages or a quick reminder? Nowadays, its a form of communication, the word texting itself is not even a real word, yet.
On a side note, I love my Sidekick LX still. Makes my life really too easy, but its a hate and love relationship. I hate paying for the monthly internet bill which basically keeps the phone from restarting, but I love the luxury of having internet and other function which I actually don't really care about. I wanted to upgrade my phone, but nowadays its all about power and megapixels and faster internet. Man, when I grow older I'm going to tell my kids...or maybe grandchildren... about the telephone and the answering machine (I doubt it'll exist in 1o years from now...okay maybe 20 years from now) and I'm sure they'll be astonished of such a device.
Well 5 minutes until midnight, almost time to sleep and stop talking to Alysia. Gotta get up tomorrow! Moving out. :0

Dad's Birthday
My dad's birthday was yesterday, and it was pretty fun. The food was incredible, the cake was delicious, and the movie was interesting. Dinner was hotpot. Hotpot is always a lot of fun to eat when there are a ton of people to eat with. Well, it was just my family which consisted of 5 people, but it was just the right number. I love it. The cake was a Black Forest Cake from some cake shop, it was pretty good, but there is a bitter aftertaste to the cake. It might be the rum or alcohol. Then we watched 17 Again, and I actually liked it a lot. There is this new dvd rental place in Pavillions called 'dvdplayers' and it was close by so I decided to give it a try. All the dvds were checked out, it was so lame, we went back to RedBox and rented the movie instead. I should talk more about the movie, but really I just wanted to keep this consistent and write something. This is a horrible post, and I'll probably draft it in a couple of days. For now I'll just post it.

P.S Happy Birthday Dad, I love you but I have trouble showing it.

Reason to Write
I'm starting to wonder why I write. Before I really needed an emotional outlet when I had no one to talk to about the problems, but I'm still writing a lot and pretty often too. Why do I write? Is it because I want to continue to keep a written account of my life? That does sound nice, but it doesn't really sound like myself.
Perhaps...no, never mind. This is for myself, something of a hidden blog that I don't expect people to read. I want to be able to read this when I grow older. I want to read of all the adventures, romance, comedy, and even the menial details that occurred to me during my life here in college. Although I love having fresh start in every phase of my life, looking back to remember how I got to where I stand is always an encouragement.
I just need more adventures to write down! Although there are just some adventures I'd like to keep to myself, perhaps one day I'll just open all of it to the public.
"Secrets don't make friends, but friends make secrets!"

Monday Blues
Today, well it wasn't one of the best days of summer. It was my longest day so far, I think. Maybe I had another bad day like today, but its only bad because I'm looking forward to Thursday. I really hope it happens, can't wait! The Blink 182 song: First Date just popped into my head. I'll make sure to find it and post it just for kicks. :)

Two things:
1. I'm an idiot that needs to shut up and remember what I said.
2. I need to slow down, its only been 2 months.
That is all.

Alysia's Party + Hangout with Danny = A Good Saturday
Saturday:
I woke up really late today. I was due at James Huber Park at 12:30PM, but I woke up at 11:45AM. Sigh, I'm really bad, but I had a good conversation the night before, and I couldn't hang up. I was so excited to just talk, that the next thing I know its already 3:00AM. I promised to sleep earlier, to make sure I'll make it to Alysia's party, but to my surprise, coming at 1:30PM was apparently the right time. She wasn't there until 2:00PM I think. Typical college students. :)
Surprisingly it was pretty fun, I got to meet Alysia's friends. They are really cool people, quite friendly and chill. The type of company Alysia probably enjoys. Odd bunch really, but I thought they were cool! We threw water balloons and snacked on chips. The cake was well done by Jane, but it was a bit too sweet for my tastebud. What a good friend for her to throw Alysia a little surprise party. I would be flattered.
Danny and I left after they decided to bring the booze and alcohol. Not the type of scene we enjoy being in. We wanted to get Alysia something for her birthday, because she constantly mentions her love for presents. Sadly, Ontario Mills had a poor selection. We found this net we thought she would like, but decided she would probably never use it, or wear...
We circled the mall once, bought some cherry lemonade which was a little too sweet from Wetzel Pretzel, and didn't buy anything else. Sad, but better for our wallets. Afterward, I went to eat dinner at Earthen Garden, which is really my favorite place to eat at Rowland Heights. Old memories...I'll save that for another blog. We ordered the usual: 1 Green Onion Pancake; 1 House Special Chicken; 1 Niu Rou Mian; and 1 Pork Dumplings. It was delicious, and the great part was the conversation was even better. I missed talking to Danny, it really has been too long since we had a day to catch up and hang out. We literally talked for the entire day, about everything. We never stopped talking... I guess this happens when you bottle things up for an entire month, and spill it all out in one day. We were so full fromt he meal that we went to Puente Hill Malls after to walk around and play.
We spent 5 dollars each on the arcades and it was a lot of fun. I haven't been to the arcade in a while and I had a lot of kicks and laughter. Gauntlet isn't as fun as it used to be; shooting games are always fun but the second player always loses first for some reason (either that, or Danny sucks at it); and with our remaining 2 dollars we decided to attempt to win a stuff animal for Alysia. Sadly, it was rigged so we couldn't win it. It was a panda; it would give Yuki-Chan and that rabbit with a mustache (whose name I cannot recall) a new friend. It wasn't meant to be, but heck, it was fun trying.
We went to Tea Station to grab something to drink afterwards, and talked even more. Geezs we never shut up. Drove back to my house, and walked to my park. I gave him a bit of a history of the park, and we loitered around and talk even more. I'm serious this whole day felt like a catch up day with Danny. We just had so much to say. To end the night we exchange a few more words, and ended it with a prayer for each other. Overall, it was a fun Saturday. I really wanted to blog about it right away so I remember this when I grow up and all. I hope Danny and I will still be good friends in the future. I'm really counting on it, but I have a long history of ex-bestfriends'. That's that.

Norcal
I finally bought my place ticket to Norcal! I was tired of waiting for plans to be resolved, so I just whatever it and bought myself a ticket to Norcal. Cost me about 60$, but I think its well worth it. 1. I get to fly on a plane by myself (first time experience).
2. The money for gas is probably the same as going in a car.
3. I get motion sickness when I'm cramped for space (I might be claustrophobic).
4. I save myself 5 hours on the road vs 1 hour on the plane.
5. I'm going for sure, don't have to rely on anyone to attend to my destination (maybe my pilot, but I'm paying him!).
STOKED.
On a side note, surprisingly this month I made a pretty good friend. I thought I was done with making new friends, but I'm kind of surprised this friendship took off the way it did. I'm glad it happened. "NAB" haha. I promise not to forget you.

Summer Update
Summer so far has been great. I haven't been home for such a long time, that its starting to get a bit more comfortable everyday. I love just waking up at noon, eating a late lunch, have time to myself to work out, do some chores instead of all of it, play with my favorite dog Totoro, and ending the afternoon with a good book to read out in my lawn. I really love my lawn, I got this picnic blanket to throw on top of my lawn when I'm outside. The trees on my lawn are perfect where they are, because they provide substantial amount of shade, and the perfect atmosphere to stare up to the sky or to read.
I just finished another fiction book, Jester by James Patterson. I really love the author's writing style, and no matter how many books I read from him, I'm always stoked about reading the next one. Jester was my type of novel too. It had the medieval genre and the thriller suspense. I forgotten how much I really love to read, its my escape to another place. I sound pretty nerdy right now, but books stimulate my rotting mind in the summer. I'm glad I have a library within walking distance.
The library has become a pretty interesting place for me. I saw a lot of familiar faces there. I'm surprised there is a ton of people there everyday. Libraries remind me of a open club for people who love to read. Its something we all have in common when we enter a library. Well, I guess this only counts for public library. UCR's library is filled with students who are cramming for their next midterm or final, haha.
Well, nothing particularly exciting happened so far this summer. Well maybe one thing, but nothing else so far. I hope my trip with norcal will just make it all up. I'm counting on it! And I'm going through with it, I'm tired of waiting for people.

Meteor Showers 2009
5 Meteors. That's all I saw. :)
These events are much more fun when you are watching it with someone.
Heh, I'm glad I did.
Its a bit overrated, but it was exciting as well.
I'm going to bed, I don't want to stay up for the rest of the night by myself.

Last 2 Days
Day 1: Melody's Birthday.
So Friday was Melody's Birthday, and it didn't go exactly as planned. Crap happened, and Danny showed up hours late. We arrived at Alysia's place at 8 o clock, thinking she was grumpy for us being late, but apparently she only sounded that way because she was missing a chunk of flesh from her tongue. We arrived, and thankfully she wasn't too formal, because I was wearing my flannel, jeans, and rainbows because I forgot my formal attire, and left as soon as Emi used the restroom. It was funny, because during the car trip we were trying our best to scare Emi about Alysia's personality. It was kind of mean, but if I state it here, there will be no secrets...
Anyways, we arrived at Victoria Gardens around 8:30PM, on time (right?). We busted into the restaurant attempting to create a dynamic entry to only end up in the bar. The band was playing loudly, but I could have sworn people were laughing in the background, ashamed we immediately turned around and went to the restaurant quietly. Oh, we were laughing so hard outside, of course after one failed attempt it would usually be wise to not try making the mistake twice so we didn't try again. We came in quietly and met with the rest of the people who waited for us for an hour. I felt horrible, the hosts came late to their own party. Dinner was great, sort of, our ribs sucked. I wasn't full or satisfied from the meal, and we had to share the watermelon. That was pretty funny though, geezs women are wicked. Danny and I were attempting to find a way to share it equally, but Emi and Alysia whispered (devilishly) into our ears to just eat it when the other isn't looking. Horrible, haha. Dinner was great after all. We walked the birthday girl back to her car. While we were walking, I attempted to explain the layout of Victoria Garden to Emi, but it was useless, she is doomed to be lost forever (just kidding). I drove back with Danny, Emi, and Alysia. Conversations were interesting, didn't have time to catch what the girls were talking about, they didn't care much about our conversation either. Much too absorbed in our on talks. Great night. We went to EE in the end to get a drink.
Day 2: Desert Hill's Outlet and Morongo.
Saturday was really fun, we shopped for 6 hours straight and I was tired of walking. I found a tight jacket, but didn't buy it in the end. Actually I didn't buy anything today, just window shopped. I guess I'm done shopping for now, had a shopoholic craze, but it went away. Ate a super good buffet, so worth the 20$, and I won it back in the roulette tables. Doubled up and left. So sweet. My mom tripled playing the slots, so lucky. Long drive home, came back late, wished I made it to Kevin's party. Sorry Kevin. Happy Birthday.

American Waters; White Water Rafting.
The trip was great. 16 hours on the road, 4 hours of rafting, 52 hours of camping. I wished we stayed another day, but at the same time, one trip might have been enough. I was so tired after we rafted for 4 hours. It was a lot of fun, but my back, butt, and oblique are sore. Well worth it though, I want to go on another adventure! I loved almost every minute of the amazing scenery to sleeping under the stars.
Class 3/4 rapids next time!

P.S I need a camera, words can't describe what nature has to offer.
